A. Course Description and Requirments

Quantitative Methods (Psyc 601) is a basic course in statistical methods and concepts applied to general psychological research. In addition, the problems of quantitation and measurement will be discussed and students will be introduced to at least one statistical computer package.

B. Course Grade

The course grade will be based on a weighted combination of two exams, a final, homework, and class participation, as follows: Exam 1 = 20%; Exam 2 = 20%; Final = 25%; Homework = 25%; Class Participation = 10%.
